Role Description

This full-time on-site Expeditor role is based in Yellowknife, NT. The Expeditor will be responsible for coordinating logistical and procurement tasks to support field projects. Responsibilities include sourcing equipment and supplies, managing shipments, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to project locations. The Expeditor will play a vital role in supporting seamless operations and minimizing delays in projects.

 

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, vendor management, and sourcing of supplies
• Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee shipments and logistics
• Proficiency in inventory tracking systems, documentation, and record-keeping
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations in field operations or remote work environments
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and quickly address logistical challenges
• Experience in mining, exploration or related industries considered an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel if necessary for project support
